273405BR Technical design Expert- AWS Job Description Create the detailed IT infrastructure solution/ service design on public cloud platform (AWS), based on functional/ non- functional specifications, to meet quality and performance requirements and technical constraints. Manage stakeholders for multiple business functions and liaise with Public Cloud service lines. Act as a SPoC for Public Cloud tower. Create the detailed infra design to operate the application software/ services on a public cloud platform, primarily on Amazon Web Services Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of applications Ensure that detailed designs adhere to solution architecture design (i.e. high level conceptual design) and are traceable to functional as well as non- functional requirements in functional specification Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing new solutions and services Work in close collaboration with Architecture and Operations to integrate new solutions Ensure timely and cost- effective delivery of solutions required for new projects Help to drive architectural improvements and standardization for the Cloud environments Contribute to enhance automated DevOps processes to release new solutions into the live environment Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within service delivery scope Peer review and sign off detailed designs by business. Maintain Architectural Handbook technology architecture sections such that the handbook illustrates current state of the environment Automation Services: Help Engineering team to drive implementation of automation services into the Public Cloud Evaluate new technology options and vendor products Establishes Governance and best practices in cloud environments Guide customers in the installation and use of strategic products through education and guidance, first- use and tuning assistance problem solving and critical situation resolution Adherence to the Novartis IT quality standards Deliver on time Cost optimization Completeness and quality of deliverables Customer feedback (expectations met/ exceeded) Application on boarding delivery success Actively contribute to the business with innovative solutions that show results in the form of cost optimization and / or growth of the business top line revenue Minimum requirements Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering. AWS Solution Architect certification - Professional level (must) English Overall 14 to 18 years of IT experience Minimum: 6+ experience in a relevant technical role. Experience with all AWS provided services to develop and maintain cloud based infra solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security. Experience with DevOps Orchestration/ Configuration/ Continuous Integration Management technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet. Knowledge on hybrid public cloud design concepts Very good understanding of Cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services Knowledge of IP networking and security in AWS VPNs, DNS, load balancing, security, and interaction with onsite security and networking systems. Certification is a plus.
