Job Description

    The Integration Security team leads and coordinates all security engineering efforts aligned to the critical integrations space across JP Morgan Chase. We design, engineer & integrate security controls & believe in seamless embedded security & all ways of engineering & baking security in from the start for frictionless value delivery to our business and customers. We are customer focused with a strong drive to improve engineers experience & opening secure pathways for information flows supporting organization efficiency and our business.Join our team in the journey of contributing positive change and making a difference! We re looking to add a highly motivated and skilled technologist and leader as an engineering lead & Architect. A self-starter with a delivery mindset, team-first attitude and comfortable partnering with many different disciplines and SMEs at all levels of the organization to define, leading a team to develop and deliver security solutions supporting the integration space. The role will combine technical leadership, and hands-on development with a focus on integrations and distributed systems development. All facets of software development from proof-of concepts to production deployment utilizing agile delivery practices and toolsets will be utilized.Responsibilities
    • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
    • Hands on software development, motivating, leading and managing a team of software engineers
    • 5+ years of past experience in full stack Java development within team (Agile/Scrum) environments and large implementations
    • Experience with Kubernetes and AWS cloud services and deployments
    • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, version control tools (BitBucket, Git), managing and tracking work using management tools like Jira and following and promoting Agile practices
    • Collaborating on a cross-functional team to execute against our product roadmap
    • Strong communication skills demonstrating the ability to present and explain ideas and concepts
    • Hands on skilled engineering leader with the ability to work within a diverse collaborative team across different time zones.
    • Keen understanding of financial control, budget and resource management
    • Recruiting and hiring top engineering talent
    • Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
    • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
    • Advanced knowledge of software architecture & design across all systems
    • Proficiency and hands on experience in multiple modern programming languages
    • Excellent knowledge and experience in system design, domain driven design and microservices
    • Experience in leading large scale projects and passionate about building an innovative culture
    • Experience with architectural patterns for scalability, high availability, performance and disaster recovery
