Department Name : CTS Product Development PROCESS BRIEF The purpose of FactSet Content and Technology Solutions (CTS) is to capture substantial revenue opportunities that exists within the financial data feed market and help drive the adoption of FactSets proprietary content through FactSets feed business.CTS Product Development is responsible for the strategic architecting and proliferation of FactSets feed data product lines in the market.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The technical writer must have good control over English such that documentation produced for the CTS team doesnt require regular proof reading for grammar or quality reasons. In addition, its important that the resource has experience with either markup languages or programming languages such that they are able to create or update technical documents that include coding snippets without heavy reliance on domain experts for the purpose.The candidate must be willing to both establish and lead a new team of tech writers that can interact meaningfully with both product development and engineering for CTS.Establish and propagate a new technical writing discipline within CTS PD with potential outreach to all of CTS Manage and take leadership over the CTS tech writer group Work with CTS PD groups across all products in order to create and maintain both internal/external documentation Contribute to the creation and upkeep of technical training materials as required Assist in the development of client facing user documentation for Open:FactSet content sets Ownership of relevant internal training media and documentation for CTS Ability to confirm coding changes included documentation updates (training will be provided),
