Job Description

  • Samples received from the OP, IP and wards to be entered in the respective register
  • Hematology number to be generated to all the sample starting from No.1
  • Then samples to be distributed and two smears to be made
  • Batch of samples to be taken to cell counter for testing
  • As and when samples are received and test completed to acknowledge back to the wards about the completion of tests.
  • Results to be entered in the register intended for the work done.
  • ESR to be set up separately and the values to be entered in the ESR register and then on to the main register.
  • Smears are stained and count to be done on the smear and entered on the DC register and then to the main register.
  • All abnormal results to be send to the Doctors to check
  • Body fluid to be done are entered in the body fluid register and then entered in the main register
