The incumbent will be responsible for managing different parts of construction projects, supervising crew members, preparing estimates for time and material costs, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for different stakeholders. He will be required to collaborate with all Architects, construction managers, engineers, planners, and surveyors etc. to drive the effective implementation of the planned design. The incumbent would work in a high-paced team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSurveying and setting out levels of site to enable accurate production of the building designsConducting preliminary inspections, surveys and studies of a proposed construction siteMaintaining documentation related to construction projects, including permits, material specification sheets, and budgetary documentsManaging the day-to-day activities of contractors and subcontractors working on the siteNegotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contractsWriting detailed project bids and proposals showing cost and time estimates of the projectDevising technical solutions to issues that are causing delays and monitor the implementation of these solutions into the overall workflowOverseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site Candidate ProfileSpecifically, the candidate should have:Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualificationProven experience as a site engineer in large scale projectsProfessional experience in quantity estimation, concept design, project execution, engineering, technology, building, construction, and designHighly proficient in software such as 3D modelling and graphic imaging software, Computer-aided drafting (CAD) software (Auto CAD, Sketch Up); Computer-aided design software (Microsoft Visio, Visual Architect, TurboCAD, etc.)Qualification:- B. Tech / M. Tech in Civil Engineering from reputed colleges.- Any certifications in Project Management / Construction Management is added advantage.Experience:- Working in large Real Estate Construction & Engineering Firms in Residential High-Rise projects.- Must have served considerable service years with mandatory experience in end-to-end execution of High rise, Residential projects in Mivan shuttering.- Exposure to sound technical understanding of best and latest engineering practices, project management tools along with managing large teams and multiple projects simultaneously is a must for success in the role.Skill set:- Sound grasp of planning, structural engineering, finishing, and other areas- Understanding of budgets, variances, profit and loss, monitoring and reporting techniques- Proficient in MS Office ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint ) and working experience in software viz.
