Job Description

    Main Function of Job: To ensure prompt payment of all student fees. To ensure that course fees are collected in accordance with financial procedures and the terms and conditions agreed with students and firms, and that appropriate action is taken at the correct time when debts become overdue. To provide a first class service with regard to the management of student and firm fees To ensure that The University has the best financial systems and controls possible which complies with all relevant legislation and accounting standards. In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed below, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the manager from time to time. Specific Responsibilities: To prepare sales invoices to customers and ensure that invoices are issued in a timely manner. To run the daily matching report for all open items within the student debtor accounts and allocate (match) payments received with the outstanding fee lines on the accounts, ensuring that the student account show an accurate reflection of the outstanding liability and remaining open items. To accurately add student fees payment instalment plans to the student debtor accounts as per the defined process in line with the student requests To communicate and respond to both student and firm email queries to enable swift settlement of fees and invoices. To add manual direct debit payment information to the payment portal & updating of Customer Agresso records in line with this to allow for correct collection of student fees by the automated direct debit system.
