Job Description

    Job Title: Fashion Bag MerchandiserCompany: Jewellery and Fashion Bag Export HouseLocation: [Location not specified]Salary: 4-7 LPAExperience: 4-10 yearsQualification:Good University Fashion DiplomaJob Responsibilities:Product Development (PD):Oversee the development of fashion bags from design to production, ensuring all products meet market trends and buyer specifications.Collaborate with design teams to develop prototypes and samples, ensuring alignment with buyers needs.Merchandising:Handle all aspects of fashion bag merchandising, including sourcing materials, negotiating prices, and managing stock levels.Ensure timely production and delivery of fashion bags, maintaining product quality and meeting buyer expectations.International Buyer Handling:Independently manage relationships with international buyers for fashion bags.Serve as the main point of contact for buyers, handling inquiries, order placements, and follow-ups.Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and other terms of the agreement with international clients.Production Management:Oversee production schedules to ensure the timely and efficient creation of fashion bags.Liaise with production teams to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure high-quality standards are met.Coordination & Liaison:Coordinate with internal teams, including design, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of orders.Resolve any production or product-related issues quickly to maintain buyer satisfaction.Skills & Requirements:Experience:4-10 years of experience in merchandising, specifically with fashion bags.Strong experience in both PD (Product Development) and Production Merchandising.Communication Skills:Excellent communication skills to manage buyer relationships and work with internal teams.Strong negotiation skills to handle international buyers effectively.Computer Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and other relevant industry tools (e.g., ERP systems).Product Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of fashion bags, including different materials, designs, and trends.Familiarity with the production process and quality standards for fashion bags.Organizational Skills:Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines under pressure.
