We have a clear understanding and deep commitment that IT will be a critical factor in our future success.User experience Design COE lead is responsible at a global and enterprise level for User Experience (including Design thinking and UX/UI) practice and Services for Novartis. The COE lead is responsible for Design thinking and UX/UI strategy, positioning & product roadmap and develops application branding and philosophy, establishes user center design and human interaction to create unique experience for our users, customers and patients. He establishes reusable components to ensure efficient and consistent user experience and measurement.Understands our business requirements and is responsible for conceiving and conducting user research and surveys, translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. Provides support in creating products, systems and frameworks to organize information and help users understand how solution or service will work and behave over time and participate in lifecycle of the product. Employs user centered design processes, conducts ethnographic research and usability testing to identify user needs. Integrate and address user needs and balance them against business, brand and technical goals and needs. Communicate solutions, usually in the form of models, wireframes, documentation, or prototypes across platforms.Responsible for overall UX Delivery with association of all new niche technologies (e.g. chat bot, advanced analytics, AR/VR, blockchain.). Setup and lead a large diverse distributed team across projects across functions and divisions. Major Accountabilities: Strategy definition including branding and communication Organization and service set up. Recruitment and team management. Service and solution delivery in accordance to budget, quality and timeline User adoption of solution. Creation of reusable assets (including persona, design system, component library). Run design thinking workshops and education programs. Critical metrics and Measurement Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. Facilitate the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products. Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces. Identify design problems and devise solutions. Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features. Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs.Minimum requirements Any graduation / post-graduation degree 18 - 20 years of professional experience with at least 5 - 8 years of UX design experience with an exposure in designing complex solutions for complete digital products and services. Has worked in multiple UX teams including start ups. Has performed UX design role across various domains including telecommunication, media, retail Has built and lead a large team of UX designers geographically distributed in large corporation. Ability to do user research, ideate, create productive asset, run design workshop. Has a recognized portfolio of assets and industry recognition. Has technical skills that go beyond the proposed role e.g. Visualization, db design. He will be able to play a bridge role between delivery and end user. Require creativity, organization and has demonstrated ability to solve similar challenges for large corporation. Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, AdobeXD, Miro. Good understanding on HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Ability to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences Experience on user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.Why consider Novartis 799 million.
