Job Description

  • Work with fellow designers, motion designers, Program Managers, engineers to solve problems and enhance the overall user experience
  • Collaborate with the extended stakeholder teams of researchers, marketing and content strategy
  • Work with researchers to understand users and their needs, define design principles and create scenarios, workflows, IA, wireframes and prototypes, UI pattern libraries, interaction guidelines and other documentation to evolve the user experience
  • Participate in research and demo design concepts through prototypes
  • Communicate and build consensus around design direction
  • Drive product experience for Microsoft Edge and ship high quality designs on time
  • A portfolio strong in digital design, user experience and problem solving is a must
  • You must have 3+ years of experience shipping products in a product/software environment
  • Deep understanding of interaction design principles and process (interaction models, heuristics, patterns, usability, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of visual design principles and process (typography, iconography, composition, color, layout, etc.)
  • Demonstrable ability to work confidently with Program Management, Engineering and User Research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Expertise with Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, and related tools
  • Experience with prototyping tools (Invision, Flinto, Framer, Processing, Unity, etc.)
