As a Senior UX/UI Designer at EYs GDS Assurance Digital practice in Bangalore, India, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and integrating technology solutions to better serve audit clients and engagement teams. Your responsibilities will include:- Developing a deep knowledge of Audit related technical aspects and enhancing database, data analytics, and programming skills to meet the ever-increasing regulatory requirements.- Providing solution architecture, application development, testing, and maintenance support to the global Assurance service line.- Utilizing agile practices, design thinking, visual design, interaction design, information architecture, and staying updated with design industry trends.- Creating user-friendly interfaces by simplifying complex interactions and ensuring usability in every sense.- Collaborating with teams and stakeholders to drive engaging designs and incorporate customer insights throughout the creative process.- Maintaining long-term client relationships, networking for business development opportunities, and delivering high-quality client services.- Demonstrating excellent business communication, consulting, and quality process skills while following software development best practices.Qualifications required for this role include:- A bachelors degree in human-computer-interaction, human-factors, graphic design, computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent work experience. Masters degree is preferred.- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience, with management experience considered a plus.- A strong portfolio showcasing successful UX and technical projects.- Proficiency in Adobe XD and Figma, experience in creating design systems and working with UI pattern libraries.- Familiarity with design tools like Sketch, Invision, Axure RP, OmniGraffle, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other UX and prototyping software.- Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript skills are a plus.- Ability to plan and facilitate usability testing, create UX deliverables, and drive an engaging design process.- Passionately advocate for the user and incorporate customer insights into the design process.Join EY and be a part of building a better working world, where diverse teams across assurance, consulting, law, strategy, tax, and transactions work together to find new answers for the complex issues facing the world today.
