Job Description

Seasoned technology leader responsible for management of Customer Systems Technologies (CST) Enterprise Operations Project management resources in India and Philippines. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of programs including planning, organizing, budgeting, staffing, leading & controlling program activities for Enterprise Operations in Synchrony. This will offer an excellent opportunity to work closely with wide range of groups across business teams, multiple vendors and SYF IT teams to plan and execute on large scale, multi-year strategic & tactical initiatives of the organization.Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day to day management of Enterprise Operations Customer Systems Technologies (CST) project management resources in India & Philippines.
  • Manage business stakeholders in India and Philippines & other EO stakeholders in respective program areas.
  • Carry out managerial responsibilities including - planning, hiring, work assignment, appraisal & supervising the CST EO Staff in India and Philippines.
  • Partner strategically with CST Application engineering team for Innovation Station initiatives.
  • Work closely with business teams on Empowerment station front to maintain a healthy backlog.
  • Partner with Business and Application engineering teams in driving POCs of bold solutions through Innovation/Empowerment Station.
  • Prepare & own IT Op plan for India & Philippines in co-ordination with CTO teams & Partner with EO teams for program spend planning for SI and Infrastructure.
  • Enable Sites in India and Philippines from an IT standpoint in partnership with CTO teams, help drive solutions to complex issues and own wing to wing uptime for the sites.
  • Manage overall program budget, monitor & track program activities
  • Create clear communication plan at program level - notify stake holders on any ramifications of decisions & issues, design alternatives
  • Create & maintain program status reports/dashboards for management & stake holder reviews
  • Partner with larger IT teams and Synchrony PMO organization to help develop best practices for SDLC including Agile project management methodology.
  • Provide leadership, direction & execution for enterprise operations initiatives leveraging global technology teams
  • Partner with key vendors to influence their roadmaps and establish a holistic governance framework
  • Perform other duties and/or special initiatives as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Experience in working with North American Bank in a global setup of diverse team members and IT groups.
  • Minimum 15+ years in Information technology with 7 + years of team management & IT Program/Project management experience.
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in leading large global teams across geographies and multiple domains
  • Experience in creating/managing budget for P&Ls & large multi-year IT programs
  • Experience in managing initiatives through varied methodologies cutting across waterfall, Agile as well as Bi-modal
  • Experience in Contact Center Technology management & green field setup across geographies
  • Excellent vendor management experience
