Job Description

    • Inventory Control:Ensure accurate recording of stock levels, perform regular stock audits, and maintain up-to-date inventory records to prevent shortages or overstocking.
    • Stock Receipt and Verification:Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying both the quantity and quality of items against delivery notes and purchase orders.
    • Stock Distribution:Issue and distribute materials or products based on requisitions, customer orders, or production needs, ensuring timely delivery.
    • Warehouse Management:Maintain a clean, organized, and secure storage area to optimize space and ensure efficient access to inventory.
    • Data Recording:Regularly update inventory management software with real-time stock movements, ensuring data accuracy for smooth operations.
    • Stock Audits:Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and resolving any inventory-related issues promptly.
    • Supplier Coordination:Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries, handling the replacement of damaged goods, or returning excess stock as needed.
    • Documentation:Maintain accurate and complete documentation of stock movements, receipts, and issues, ensuring traceability and compliance with company policies.
    • Compliance & Safety:Ensure that goods are stored, handled, and dispatched in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to avoid risks or hazards.
    • Reporting:Prepare and present regular reports on stock levels, inventory trends, discrepancies, and any operational issues to the management team.
