Job Description

Miss Riya (920,52,83,763) whats app no.Position Overview: As a Warehouse Supervisor at Dabur India, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility. Your primary focus will be on managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods efficiently and accurately. You will lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that all activities are carried out in compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Your role will be critical in maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing stock losses, and contributing to the smooth functioning of the supply chain.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Warehouse Operations: Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
    2. Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure accuracy, minimize stockouts, and prevent overstocking. Implement effective inventory control measures to reduce inventory discrepancies.
    3. Team Management: Lead, motivate, and train warehouse staff to achieve productivity and accuracy targets. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance team performance.
    4. Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and quality of goods received and dispatched from the warehouse. Implement quality control procedures and conduct periodic inspections to maintain product integrity.
    5. Warehouse Safety: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel. Conduct regular safety meetings and trainings to promote safety awareness.
    6. Warehouse Organization: Organize the layout and storage of goods in the warehouse for efficient space utilization and easy accessibility.
    7. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems, to ensure their proper functioning.
    8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions, stock levels, and warehouse activities. Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance and KPIs for management review.
    9. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the warehouse and implement measures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    10. Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and production, to ensure smooth coordination and timely fulfillment of orders.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehousing role, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
    • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
    • Leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
    • Familiarity with safety regulations and warehouse safety practices.
