Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • 8 - 10 of experience in Network/Wireless Engineer.
  • Design, install, configuration and troubleshooting of wireless networks for Wifi6 networks.
  • Good documentation skills and creation of HLD/LLD
  • Good skills in configuring, maintaining and administration of Cisco wireless LAN controllers and embedded wireless controller ( Cisco 9800 series )
  • Good Knowledge in Configuring WPA2, 802.1X, PSK Authentication and AES, TKIP, WEP2.
  • Experience on conducting wireless surveys on both active and predictive using ekahau or air magnet.
  • Install and Configuration of Cisco Wireless indoor and outdoor access points
  • Hands on in configuring, maintaining and administration of Cisco switches/Routers.
  • Basic troubleshooting in firewall(ASA, Checkpoint, Pix).
  • Good Knowledge in RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP Protocol.
  • Analyzing & troubleshooting the issues related to Cisco WLC, WCS, Switching, routing and ISE policies.
  • Having an Experience on Cisco Wireless: Cisco Controller 5508,5520,8540 and 9800 series with embedded WLC,
  • Responsible to handle complete project of wireless network including Wireless LAN Controller and Access Control server and ISE.
  • Good to have experience in providing remote support to international customers
  • Good knowledge in CSMA/CA, RTS, CTS protocols, RF transmission, Antennas, IEEE 802.11 standards (a,b,g,n,ac & ax), 802.1x, Wi-Fi 6, WLAN Security in the areas of authentication, encryption, AAA authentication, EAP, LEAP,PEAP, PSK, AES-CCMP.
  • Ability to handle critical customer issues and problems.
  • Ability to determine root cause and resolution for previously known problems.
  • Interacts across TAC / internal/ vendor teams.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
