Influence and shape key business growth priorities in the brand strategy Align on forecasts whilst acting as the owner and custodian of all forecasts and ingoing assumptions Drive and strengthen a one-team culture across internal partners to achieve a forward-looking insights team Bring continuous improvement, foster innovation and provide rigorous activity assessments Share learnings and best practices within and across the Franchises Strategic - Enable Franchise Heads to make strategic decisions by bringing external perspective & data based insights. Ability to develop & implement an Integrated Insights Plan (Incl. FC,BA,CI & PMR) for priority brands, disease areas & key markets, in line with Franchise strategy. Drive innovation & capability building, new techniques, data sources, automation & Al to enhance process efficiency & value of Insights. Leadership - Ability to influence across senior leaders in WWFTs & CPOs. Subject matter expert within Franchise & an advisor to CPO leads on their insight needs. Understands CPO perspectives (objectives, priorities, & support/capability requirements). Serve as a member of Franchise Leadership team, & an integral partner for CPOs/PLS. Build & lead WW Insights Team (WWBT,PLS, CPOs) to elevate functional excellence & manage all key interfaces with different geographies & functional groups. Lead, in partnership with CPOs (top 11) & PLS development of WW Integrated Insights Plan (WWIIP) & maintain oversight of its execution by CPOs, PLS or vendors. Enhance insights from primary & secondary research - Understand & apply industry-leading primary & secondary market research approaches. Lead experimentation & WW adoption of innovative approaches. Consistently monitor execution, performance & growth of key brand strategies in CPOs. Coordinate & lead optimization of secondary data sourcing with PLS/NBS & CPOs. Design & execute primary market research to surface & deliver insights to brand teams. Establish expectations & approaches to better understand & impact patient journeys. Elevate Business Analytics, Forecasting, Competitive intelligence & business optimization - Co-define business needs on analytics, competitive Intel and, execute against it. Maintain accountability & ownership for all forecasts & ingoing assumptions. Synthesize data & insights from analytics to support decision making. Incorporate novel data sources & apply advanced analytics to optimize future models. Drive WW impact & efficiency - Define & embed coordinated WW integrated insights plans for priority brands. Identify & address in efficiencies in insight generation (e.g., secondary spend reduction, reduced duplication). Talent management - Build a one-team mentality with PLS to overcome issues, balance risks, build high performing teams & trust with stakeholders. Develop Insights capabilities within Franchise, driving a continuous learning mind-set & external orientation in team. Minimum requirements Minimum: University degree Desirable: MBA or a professional qualification Minimum 10 years of business insights (market research & analytics) experience Disease area expertise preferred Global experience or multiple geographies Ability to synthesize information to develop recommendations, and to persuade/influence senior stakeholders on a recommended path of action Business acumen able connect the dots and prioritize business questions and recommendations Ability to translate complex reports and analysis into simple business speak and present results to internal clients up to the executive level Business and technical problem solving Vendor assessment and management Experience managing cross-functional projectsand remote teams Why consider Novartis750 million.
