Role DescriptionRole: Zonal Lead Central Operations role is to manageSmall Format retail stores and drive operations in terms of Sales, Profitability, Store Management, etc. Responsibility: To achieve sales targets and margins and ensure profitable store operations in the cluster as per agreed Profit and Loss guidelines.Ensure optimum utilization of available resources and identify new growth avenues for incremental sales revenues.Ensure adherence to SOPs by all stores in the cluster.Analyze space allocation (category- wise and subcategory- wise) in the store with respect to sales generated and recommend necessary changes in the same.Monitor productivity of SIS.Ensure prevalence of optimum customer satisfaction in the cluster resolve escalated customer complaints.Improve visual merchandising of the store in consultation of Store Managers and VM team.Update merchandising team on latest trends in the market on fashion, price, and product of competitors as well as customer demand.Monitor and develop system for controlling pilferage / shoplifting / shrinkage.Coordinate with Marketing Dept. at Head office for implementing marketing strategies.Provide assistance to the project team in terms of liaison with Government bodies, compliance issues, setting up systems and processesInventory Management - Ensure that optimum stock levels are maintained by all the departments through an efficient ordering system.Maintain return on working capital employed (ROWCE ) for stocks in stores.Ensure that purchase processes for locally purchased consumables and expense heads are followed to get the best rates for the products and services.Provide leadership and direction to the team - Train, develop, guide and supervise team in the cluster to ensure prevalence of high level of employee morale and motivation in the clusterExperience: 10- 15 years of experience in a similar roleQualifications: Any Post Graduate Other Requirements Competencies AttributesRetail OperationsStore OperationsTop lineAbility to convince and articulate views and concepts,
