The TAM will be the technical liaison between CQN India and the global and regional technology teams toward bringing innovative solutions to our customers. The position will be located in India, and will play a key role in helping the team execute on our strategic goals.Principal AccountabilitiesApplication of Cargill technology within CQN India feed business 30 PERCENT Closely work with the Global Technology Lead (GTL) & Regional Technology Lead (RTL) to ensure congruence of Vietnam efforts with Cargills technology deployment plans. Work with GTL & RTL to fully understand the value of technical solution ideas and evaluate the proper fit within Vietnam. Prepare technical solutions for application, train local teams to fully understand the technology. Lead the execution (application) of new Cargill technology with Vietnam in coordination with Risk Management & Sourcing (RMS), Plant Operations, and Sales. Support the local team to address customer complaints and/or feedback.Design, update and optimize feed offerings 30 PERCENT Lead the execution of field data collection for proof of performance (POP), lead design and conformance (D&C) meetings, and ensure execution of decisions or improvements. Assist, train, and engage with customers alongside the sales team to collect POP. Market Intelligence: Design and/or update the right product and feeding program for the right market by working with sales and plant operations. Work with sales, RMS and operations to revise feed formulas and feeding program guidelines, lead all formulation activities, and facilitate Strategic Product Reviews (SPRs) Work with RMS to explore new ingredient opportunities Lead local innovation (R&D)Lead technical service 30 PERCENT Directly provide technical service to key account customers and deepen our relationship with them. Lead technical service team to provide right service for right customers Support commercial leaders to equip sales team with technical service skills Closely work with the sales team to find technical opportunities;Connect India and Cargills global/regional technical resources 10 PERCENT Stay abreast of all feed technology capabilities within Cargill as well as new or emerging technology solutions Understand local customer requirements and potential applications of new technology and maintain a 2-way dialog between the global/regional technical team and US Aqua on ideas, barriers, and application. Connect with local universities/researchers to ensure that we have access to the latest information and knowledge about technologies being developed that could apply to the species and customers we serve.QualificationsEducation, Experience, SkillsRequired Qualifications MS in Aquaculture Nutrition plus at least 3 years of work experience in the aquaculture or aquafeed industry Ability to lead by influence including those working remotely Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and allocate resources to the appropriate focus areas Ability to successfully find solutions working on-farm with a range of customers, customers employees, and the sales team Desire to work in a highly collaborative team environment Fluent in English- written and spoken Business acumen must be able to understand and communicate ideas from PhDs to front line employees or customers at the appropriate level.
