Job Description

Job Title: Fashion Designing - FacultyExperience: 2 - 4 Years of Relevant ExperienceArea of Expertise Illustration / Elements of Design / Pattern Making / Garment Construction / Fashion Styling

  • As a faculty, prime responsibility would be taking classes of Fashion Designing students pursuing graduation, master degree & diploma courses.
  • Concerned faculty has to ensure that the students provide a good feedback regarding the classes.
  • Placement Readiness Activities need to be performed to ensure students are prepared well for the interviews that would be provided to them by the Placement Department.
  • Needs to undertake all necessary steps for ensuring that the candidates are prepared well in all aspects for their careers.
  • Conduct classroom sessions, labs, online sessions, and provide one- to- one guidance and counselling to the learners.
  • Provide timely feedback to learners on their assignments, Internal test and projects
  • Monitor the student performance.
  • Ensure conduct of sessions as per quality norms and delivery processes.
  • Maintain all quality records and submit reports timely.
  • Ensure upkeep of lab machines.
  • Hold student events.
  • Participate & deliver faculty improvement programs.
  • Report on improvement in the courseware.
Knowledge essential and desirable criteriaAn in-depth knowledge of specialist subject and professional area.Knowledge of the both theory and practical subjects.An in-depth knowledge of Illustration, Pattern making, Drafting, Draping, Grading, Draping for (Male, Female, child).Knowledge of designing software like Corel Draw, Illustrator & Photoshop.Teaching Experience Preferred with inclination and flare for teaching.Skills and abilities relating to role essential and desirable criteriaExcellent Communication Skills.Should work with accountability and pro-activeness.Ability to identify areasof improvement e.g., student numbers, student satisfaction.EducationDiploma in Fashion DesigningMasters in Fashion Designing
