Job SummaryResponsible for daily and weekly production targets. To monitor daily & weekly production adherence. Product knowledge (various commodities especially in Soybean Meal) Processing knowledge of Soya Industry (validation & efficiencyBreakdown maintenance of above equipmentsPreventive & Breakdown maintenancecGMP documentation on preventive maintenance- Plans preventive maintenance according to potential risks- Coordinates curative maintenance of production equipment- Analyzes breakdowns and repair time necessary for corrective and preventive actions- Leads working groups for the analysis of serious breakdowns- Leads, coordinates and plans training for production workers in their field of activityAs the Plant Head,you will be spearheading and leading the production at the plant and managing day to day operations and issues with respect to the manufacturing unit, with regards to all the Breads lines.Spearheading the efficient and effective day to day operations of the plant including operations, production, planning, maintenance, supply chain, finance as well as administrative functionsFormulating strategies for achieving annual business goals for the division and managing overall operations of the unit and leading teams towards the achievement of organisational goals and industry best practicesPlanning, organising, directing and controlling manufacturing operations through lean initiatives and business excellence philosophyManaging business operations with key focus on bottom line profitability and satisfaction by ensuring optimal utilisation of resourcesEnsuring adherence to Quality systems, maintaining requisite documents to ensure complete in process quality and improvement in process capabilitiesProviding guidance and recommending improvements on manufacturing methods to reduce errorsEnsuring quality product deliveryManaging overall operations engaged in production planning including coordinating for manpower management, supplies and up time of equipmentAccumulating data related with capacity utilization of various machines, productivity, service levels of the plant, outgoing products quality and rejection trends.Planning and effectuating maintenance plans for machines and equipment and ensuring execution of preventive maintenance schedules/shutdown maintenance to ensure trouble-free and seamless plant operationsConducting internal audits and risk assessmentAdvising employees on safe and healthy work practices, and health/safety management systemsProviding safety suggestions and safety action meeting as per the defined standards
