Job Description

Job Title : Professional 2 Application DeliveryThe Purpose of This Role:The ideal candidate will play the role of a Support in various existing Development, Maintenance and Enhancements efforts in wmA/vantage Application Platforms . The candidate will work with Tech Leads and senior development resources across the team, as well as other technical and business stakeholders across the organization. The candidate will be responsible for development, production support, and enhancement work projects.The Value You Deliver

  • Performing independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting some initiatives
  • Providing / developing solutions in the area of work with minimal supervision from the managers in some cases.
  • Using expertise in tools and approaches in order to complete moderately complex projects.
  • May work on multiple projects concurrently; ensures the completion of open work items adherence to procedures and completion.
  • Working with peers and / or across groups within functional area and with multiple levels of management to complete daily work
  • Working with SMEs and begins to assess and recommend methodologies for own work and perhaps a broader scope of work.
  • Supporting peers to identify, resolve and address moderately complex issues impacting one or more business units
The Skills that are Key to this roleCandidate should have hands on experience working with Mainframe technologies Technical / Behavioral
  • Candidate should have strong working experience on wmA/Vantage
  • Applying development skills in DB2/VSAM/COBOL/CICS/JCL/Eazytrieve/Syncsort technologies.
  • Strong DB2/SQL and JCL, COBOL/CICS, VSAM skills
  • Strong experience in Endeavor, File-Aid, Spufi.
  • Exposure to CA7/GitHub/Autosys Job scheduler skill (Nice to have/Should learn)
  • Strong understanding of a software development methodology, preferably agile.
  • Ability to effectively balance multiple high-priority assignments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Managing multiple priorities in a dynamic agile environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Team player, with strong collaboration and communication skills
The Expertise We are Looking For
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7-9 years of experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years of Life Insurance Domain Experience
  • Prior experience on wmA/Vantage Policy Admin is preferred.

  • Ready to work in shifts preferably US shift
