Job Description

1.Provide workable solutions to sustain profitability in the region. Ensures that operational efficiency is maintained at all times. Ensures that service and operational standards are adhered 100% and successful in curbing malpractices or variances. Takes proactive measures with relation to the competition and its business strategies in the region by studying weekly and monthly reports / maximizing market share. Ensures that the teams across the region are well informed and to maintain open channels of communication. Ensures that the business development initiatives are carried on in the region to improve competitive positioning. Ensures that Programming strategies are executed cautiously in the region by monitoring weekly pricing and programming schedules to deliver high footfalls and maximize revenue. Discussing and finalizing Ticket pricing with Programming Department. Ensures that follow-up of internal audit points is done immediately & implemented through effective solutions. Initiate Innovative Ideas to improve Service Standard focused towards Guest Needs. Commitment to the development of the team using learning and development initiatives. Actively influences the team to ensure that career progression takes place by maintaining stability of systems and processes. Ensure that safety and security standards are the highest in the units and emergency plans and drills are done at least once a 15 days ensuring continuity. Analyses and provides workable solutions for the daily MIS Monthly report Quarterly report to ensure unit profitability. Ensure appropriate visibility of Brand communication (On -Screen and Off - Screen, outdoors and print). Monitor Marketing Strategies.Communicate all goals and results with Regional Heads/Cluster Heads/Unit and General Managers. Promote teamwork and morale. Lead by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy, enthusiasm and business savvy approaches. Motivate and encourage team to solve guest and Unit related concerns. Communicate career opportunities to Unit/General Managers/Cluster Heads/Operations Managers/Duty Managers & Regional teams. Recognize good team performance on a continuous basis through reward and recognition programs. Meet/discuss monthly with the entire team including RGM and Cluster Heads on a one-on-one basis to review Unit performance, raise questions and resolve ambiguity. Ensure all team members participate in all process and service related training by conducting spot checks of the weekly training calendar. Promote empowerment by recognizing good business decisions and making them best practices across the region. Develop cross-training opportunities for Cluster Heads Unit Heads General Managers by using job rotation, job enrichment. Develop business plans in conjunction with the team & VP and drive the business results with monthly review, with the Unit/Cluster &RGM. 2.Devise Strategy and present the business plans for all the units in the Region (Monthly & Quarterly) to team and VP. Conduct a comparative analysis of monthly profit and loss statements, achieved budgeted revenue and profit goals, balancing cost with guest.Guest Satisfaction and marketing revenues. 3.Ensure monthly manpower budgets are reviewed with the VP and are in line with the budgeted headcount and payroll cost. Interview and select potential new hires and strive for a culturally diverse work place.Required Candidate profileBachelors Degree in Hotel Management / Any Specialization in F&B or hospitality related field. 22 years plus of experience in handling the entire Operations Department / F&B Service / Cinema.Functional Responsibility : (In-charge of entire Operations of the zone) ,
