Responsible for reviewing the functional requirements of solution to develop and designing the most effective SAP Business One add- ons applications solution Provides technical and functional expertise, guidance, and direction to staff of the project teams Consults with functional leaders on multiple features of various industries, multiple disciplines, and teams working on multiple locations to develop architecture that supports and enhances performance- driven solution goals Prepares and maintains detailed documentation regarding design and development for requirements, design documents, data flows, reporting, communication structures Responsible for single program or portfolio of projects; responsible for architecture, analysis and design activities with the project team including establishing project objectives, scope and implementation blueprint consistent with best- practices strategies Performs necessary research regarding third party Add- ons integration; acts as liaison to the vendor solution providers Identifies and evaluates new technologies that can provide competitive business value and marketplace advantage; assesses new technology return, readiness, risks and relevance Makes recommendations to improve operating efficiency and functionality of assigned development projects Directs internal teams with regards to current performance and future development and strategy Demonstrates proficiency in areas of business continuity, security and data privacy; ensures systems are designed and built with appropriate levels of protection Reviews Code and improves the built add- ons/ applications on a regular basis and identifies improvements in performance. Should be willing to work in team, taking responsibility and meeting project/ task deadlines. Maintains a high degree of knowledge on current technologies and tools Technical Architect Skills and Experience Minimum of 8- 10 years overall related experience Candidate must have been working as Technical Architect. Preferably HANA Architect. Must be proficient with SAP B1 Add- On Development using SDK, UDO, UI- API, DI- API Must be proficient with HANA/ SQL Server Database Programming Experience of developing SAP certified add- ons would have added advantage Should have practical experience of different ways of HANA utilization. Should have strong HANA Modeling experience. Must know HANA deployment options, Business Use cases, data replication technology and HANA performance improvement. As an Architect, S/ He must know Methods of Integration of HANA with other reporting systems. SAP Analytics reporting background, desirable skill. Must have built 1- 2 add- ons through complete lifecycle including support Hands on experience with Crystal Reports (queries, views, etc.), Report Layout Designer, SAP Dashboards and Cockpits Must be creative, comfortable learning and using new technologies Knowledge of integration with ERP, CRM and accounting systems Must have demonstrated ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective Must have good communication skills. The desired candidate should be willing to learn new things, explore new ideas and work towards delivery customer focused solutions. Must be willing to commit to stay with company for period of 2 years and should not be a job hopper.
