As the support teams are just being built you will instrumental in the definition and execution of the support strategy.What you will be doingAs a Senior Support Engineer at FIS you will work on our payment processing platforms. You will be fully integrated into a development and Support team where we are continuously trying to grow and improve both as a team and as individuals. You will work in a fast-moving environment where we are continuously integrating code to be tested and deployed. You will be working on a very talented and skilled development team that is passionate about the payment industry, software development best practices, testing and automation. PrincipleWhat you bring: -Knowledge/ExperienceTroubleshooting & investigation of production system issues of a 24-7 service where stability, reputation management & security are critical to the business ongoing success.Coordination and implementation of essential production maintenance tasks.Working alongside our Engineering colleagues to resolve complex issues ensuring any/all solutions fully meet operational requirements.Statistic gathering following production events.Regular reviews of the incident management queues.Mentoring and training of engineers as required.Define, develop and maintain documentation knowledgebase.Proactively identify improvements and enhancements to working practices.Assisting with audit data gathering.Skills
