Job Description

Key skills / experience for the Web Designer role :

  • A minimum of one yearrsquos web designing experience and exposure to the CSS, HTML 5.0, Java Script, Photoshop, and CMS (Wordpress, Joomla etc.), preferably within a commercial environment.
  • Should have in-depth knowledge of HTML and all its variations
  • Should Have Strong CSS proficiency
  • Knowledge in Responsive Design
  • Should be able to take a design from conception to HTML production-ready mock-up.
  • Able to produce fully valid and semantically correct code ( Javascript, HTML, CSS, and Accessibility)
  • Should have good Knowledge of Photoshop, Coral Draw
  • Should have good Knowledge of CMS eg Wordpress, Joomla etc.
  • Can test a site completely. Everything from links and code validity to load times and spell checking
  • Should have expertise with developing SEO friendly websites
  • Must understand the web browser space and know how to write code that works across all browsers
