Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities
    • Develop finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
    • Handle end to end finance & accounting functions in ERP environment, well versed with latest legislations w.r.t. area of work, taxation / GST, finalization of accounts, review, reporting.
    • Monitor the client invoicing process, to ensure that change orders are being invoiced and monthly progress billings are properly submitted, Advise the Project Manager on contractual matters relating to the project cost control and the risks associated with the project costs.
    • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; Calculate forecast to complete (FTC) and forecast at completion (FAC) costs with the relevant project personnel and update the applied project cost control system accordingly Forecast cash flow.
    • Finance & Banking, Liaising with various govt. authorities, Budgeting and Controlling.
    • Work with Project Management and Project Control staff ensuring proper compliance with accounting procedures including reviewing and analyzing job cost estimates and reports monthly.
    • Prepare reports summarizing and forecasting project activity and financial position, including cost reports that show the original budget, current budget, commitments, FAC, incurred and expended values and variances.
    • Provide corrective actions / recommendations for variances between budget and commitments.
    • Report on project costs related to budgeted amounts with impact on project profitability monthly, quarterly and annually. Attend project kick off, progress, cost control and planning meetings and implement approved changes in the cost control system as directed.
    • Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external and internal auditors. Establish and maintain histograms, S-curves, KPIs, graphs / curves for recording and monthly status reporting of project costs and forecasting.
