Job Description

  • Determine capital expenses and communicate capital budget to all departments to plan procurement of items.
  • Process bills for payment after ensuring that they are correct and in accordance with tax rates. Make all statutory and tax payments in accordance with policy.
  • Set billing terms, inform debtors of payment options, and monitor all transactions.
  • Monitor all cheque / cash payments and ensure that minimum account balance is maintained.
  • Liaise with government authorities for payment of prevailing Tax laws and other relevant payments/Compliances.
  • Prepare data for tax returns and file the same. Process VAT, TDS and Central Excise payments.
  • Conduct verification and recording of all fixed assets. Identify assets to be written off, ascertain book value, and assist with correct pricing. Check physical stock in store with inventory record maintained on the system, and correct any inaccuracies. Analyze costs and take cost control measures.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and prepare MIS report for monthly review. Co-ordinate with internal and statutory auditors by documenting all business, sharing records and participating in assessment.
  • Track Gratuity and PF dues of employees who have left the organization. Resolve queries and settle dues.
  • Prepare outstanding liabilities, expense statements, financial reports and required audit schedules every quarter on approval from supervisor. Supervise maintenance of books, records, registers, documents for internal / external audit. Perform the monthly book closing and prepare reconciliation report.
  • Based on employee data, process payroll and tax details, PF & ESIC documentation, and F& F settlements (based on leave balances and outstanding dues) Send reports to relevant government bodies and maintain internal documentation.
  • In addition to the above mentioned duties and job functions, any other assignment given by the management within the scope of job.
