Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable 1099 Reporting Responsibilities
    • Responsible for working on consolidation of 1099 files from system/emails follow-up with BUs including interaction with onshore and offshore teams
    • Responsible for analyzing files and data based on standard processes provided to Genpact by Client in advance and mutually agreed between the Parties for existing and new BUs
    • Responsible for reporting on 1099 outputs and files in acceptable formats as defined by standards provided to Genpact by Client in advance and mutually agreed between the Parties.
    • Assist Client with finalizing the global standard process and developing revised 1099 process standard operating procedures (SOP) as necessary.
    • Identify process improvements/automations to be implemented once agreed by onshore management.
    • Communicating in a timely manner any relevant information related to the process
    • Ad-hoc reporting, based on internal and external requirement
    • Maintaining high rigor to achieve defines process SLAs
    Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Skills
    • Domain understanding for Accounts Payable (AP) and Payment
    • 1099 process applicability and other controls
    • Communication skills
    • Relevant experience in coordinating teams
    • Highly proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Access)
    • Ability to execute on stated objectives
    • Goal orientated
    Preferred qualifications
    • Advanced degree in accounting is preferred with working experience
    • Personal culture and ability to deal with the client properly
    • High motivation and willingness to learn
    • Ability to work under time pressure
