Job Purpose / Role Responsible for planning and controlling of all product and process development relating issues of his vehicle projects (including product planning, R&D, production, purchase and sales & marketing) from initial phase up to SOP either internal or external projects.Responsible for achieving all project targets concerning product, quality, cost, investments, budget and SOP timelines on his respective models within all relating project teams and functions.Key Responsibilities: He is responsible to achieve all in the target agreement defined project targets (product, business case, and timing).He is leading a project team from all necessary functions (product planning, R&D, production, purchase, finance etc.)He will manage his project teams and reconciles their manning directly with all functions.He is responsible to set up a target agreement for his projects In case of conflict of objectives he is responsible to take the decisions needed and if necessary he escalates Represents all his projects in the management circles and reports into the Operations Council.Drive Cost reduction strategy for each program.Process - Support Model Line Head in making and accomplishing overall Model Line Plan- Develop and Manage program strategy.- Track and review Plan Vs Actual, foresee gaps, escalate and take corrective actions to meet time, cost and quality targets.- MIS reporting and ensure online updatingFinancial - Develop program cost goals, prepare budgets.- Develop and execute short and long term cost reduction plans, risk mitigation plans. Customer - Resolve and Implement corrective action on issues. Interact with supply base as needed to support Purchasing and development for issue resolutions.- Provide program leadership for achieving technical & financial targets.- Conflict management.Desired Technical / Functional Competencies - Understanding of Engineering Services in the domain of Value Engineering, CAE, PDM, QFD.- Engineering processes, contemporary systems , standards, and procedures- Understanding of a complete motorcycle/ scooter - Knowledge of Complete value chain- platform for a vehicle built- Knowledge of Motor vehicle rules , regulations, latest trends, supplier market- Knowledge of competition eco system.- Good understanding of Business Case- 10 years experience in Vehicle Integration / Chassis Background or Equivalent.Required Candidate profileEssential Education Background: Bachelor in EngineeringExperience (Years): Minimum 12 yrs Maximum 20 yrs,
