To augment its growth , company is looking for Project Manager for its ODC in Jaipur. Designation : Project Manager Years of Experience : 6 to 10 Years Work Location : Jaipur Joining : Immediate ( max 30 days ) Note : Buyout possible for relevant candidate for immediate joining.As a Project Manager you are required to accomplish the following: The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific short-term project which has a beginning, an end and specified deliverables. A PM must be able to understand the scope of the assignment and select and apply an optimal management process in order to deliver a product or a service on time and within other identified constrains. This combined with the need to commence and conclude projects are very essential to a PMs job. Produce sound project plans, basing them on a thorough understanding of the requirements and/or design. Roles and Responsibilities : This Role demands following actions & duties to be executed: 1.Plan the project a) Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management. b) Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project. c) Set up and manage support functions covering planning, tracking, reporting, quality management and internal communication. d) Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project. e) Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocate the resources to the activities. f) Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required. g) Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion. h) Establish standards, tools and procedures for use on the project, including Issue, Risk, Change and Information Management. 2.Staff the project a) In consultation with the appropriate manager, recruit, interview and select staff and/or volunteers with appropriate skills for the project activities. b) Manage project staff and / or volunteers according to the established policies and practices of the organization. c) Ensure that personnel files are properly maintained and kept confidential. d) Ensure that all project personnel receive an appropriate orientation to the organization and the project. e) Contract qualified consultants to work on the project as appropriate. 3. Agile Methodology At an enterprise level, leading and managing large, complex enterprise-level projects consisting of multiple Agile teams and/or requiring integration with other activities outside the scope of the Agile teams. At a team level, playing a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project team. In situations that require a hybrid Agile approach, using good judgment and skill to develop a project management approach that is suitable for planning and managing the effort to achieve the project goals within designated project constraints. In performing these roles, it will be expected to use a high level of knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach in the right proportions to fit large, complex, mission-critical, enterprise-level projects and with the appropriate level of planning and provide the right balance of agility and predictability. 4. Implement the project a) Execute the project according to the project plan. b) Manage and lead the project team. c) Manage co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work. d) Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan. e) Develop forms and records to document project activities. f) Manage project training within the defined budget. g) Manage consultancy input within the defined budget. h) Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured. i) Manage the Project Library. j) Review project activities for compliance with procedures and standards. k) Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project. l) Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project. m) Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards. n) Define and manage the User Acceptance Testing programme. o) Manage data security, software and license control. p) Assist with the production of user documentation. q) Assist with testing. 5.Control the project a) Write reports on the project for management and for stakeholders. Produce consolidated report to the Project Board, including milestone summary, key issues, risks, benefits, and summary of costs incurred. b) Resolve cross-functional issues at project level. c) Manage project scope, change control, issues and escalate issues where necessary. d) Monitor project progress and performance. e) Communicate with stakeholders / clients as outlined in agreements. f) Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures. g) Monitor hour projections and report actual hours and variance to senior management on a regular basis ( daily / weekly / monthly ). h) Manage all project hours according to established policies and procedures. i) Prepare reports and supporting documentation for stakeholders as outlined in agreements. j) Work closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs. 6.Evaluate the project a) Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within estimated hours and at the required level of quality. b) Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase. Required Competencies and Skills: 1.Certified Scrum Master and 2 years of Scrum Master experience 2.Experienced on Agile methodologies must to have 3.SAFE ( scaled Agile ) good to have 4.Good at Agile Project Management tools such as Jira 5.Communicate Effectively: Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques. 6.Creativity / Innovation: Develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the organization and to create new opportunities. 7.Foster Teamwork: Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness. 8.Lead: Positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization. 9.Make Decisions: Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization. 10.Organize: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details / data / information / activities. 11.Plan: Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results. 12.Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem. 13.Change Agents: Make project goals their own and use their skills and expertise to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project team.
