Job DescriptionReceives, reviews, and processes purchase requisitions, ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. Facilitates contact with departmental representatives to clarify or obtain additional information to organize requisitions for efficient actions and responses.Develops and distributes purchase orders and change orders to vendors and internal customers.Liaises with the Vendor Contracts group to ensure agreements are executed prior to the purchase of goods and/or services, if applicable.Tracks and maintains vendor purchasing activities and measurements, as well as maintains all purchase order related files.Has the ability to read, analyse and interpret quotes, estimates or bids to ensure requirements/specifications or scope of work will be met. Ability to compare quotes estimates or bids.Responsible for buying the best quality equipment, goods and services at the most competitive prices.Ensures efficiency, is highly organized and is detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.Manage all stages of supplier identification and selection.Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliersManage the supply chain, including dealing with regulatory aspects as per market requirement.Support our sales team with sourcing materials for new/old products and technical evaluation (if required as per market conditions).Develop sourcing strategies and alternatives for new sources to reduce risk cost, and improve service levels and quality.Perform risk management and constraint analysis on key suppliers/products.Develop market intelligence, analysis of supplier capabilities, market trends and find new partners.Work in close contact with the team and vendors & timely reply.Controlling primary freight and constant liaising with freight operators in identifying cost saving opportunities.Constant interaction with purchase, sales, planning and warehouse function to align supply and demand.Demand and supply planning, monthly forecasting reviews with category planners.
