Job Description

Dear Job Aspirant,Hiring is going on in your city !for the position of Sales Manager of defence vertical in a reputed life insurance company. We are proud to inform that this is a new vertical of the very popular life insurance company.It is a Sales team handling profile. You will manage a team of Direct Sales Agents. These DSA get salary of 10 to 15 thousand rupees per month. They are supposed to sell life insurance policies to a limited segment of people only to Defence people and their families. The product that they sell is also especially designed of defence people and their families. They especially work in the cantonment area (where army people live).Sales Managers - DefenceExperience: 1 to 6 yrs. In sales development role or insurance sales. We especially give preference to candidates from Indian Armed forces. Who are ex-servicemen or who have near relatives in Indian Armed forces (army, Navy and air force). The business has to be done especially for defence people. The policies sold are also especially designed for defence people.CTC : Up to 4 lacs plus performance based incentives.Job Description This position is in the Defence vertical.It is a team handling profile. You would be required to handle a team of 8 to 12 DSA. These DSA will also be of defence background. These DSA will be on the pay roll of the company. Their salary will be between Rs 10 to 15 thousand per month. These DSA will sell special life insurance policies to only the defence people (people working in the armed forces of India) and their families. Mostly living in the cantonment area. The policies have to be sold to a limited segment of people.

  1. Position Summary:
Achieving business results in the Defence Retail business through worksite sales process through effective distribution of Insurance products in the target affinity. Responsible for DSA recruitment and development and meeting the business targets month on month according to the plan. Initially some DSA will be provided by the company to the Sales Manager.
  1. Key Responsibilities:
1) DSA Recruitment: Conduct and execute recruitment drives from various sources in the defence segment for DSA hiring & build a team of DSA.2) DSA Development:Ensure product knowledge by Companys ways of trainingJoint field calls (JFC) and post presentation follow up process in Units/Battalions.Develop DSA on DSA Commando Course platformDevelopment of DSA prospecting habits, calling habits and work habitsWork with DSA on planning and reviewing of activities and goalsIdentify the training needs of the DSA and work with Trainers to improve the same3) Business Deliverables and Responsibilities:Achievement of monthly, quarterly & yearly Goal sheet targetsBuild an influencer network in conjunction with DSA to approach Units/Battalions for Sales Seminar presentations.Fix Sales seminar presentations in Units/Battalions through influencer network and Office Head support,Ensure effective follow up process in Units/Battalions post sales seminar presentation.Maintain a database of customers touched through sales seminar presentationsEnsuring business is done in an ethical and honest manner which is in compliance to the IRDA normsDesired Candidate ProfileEducation:Min.
