Job Description

The credit manager position is accountable for the entire credit underwriting process for his area, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, Early Warning and Delinquency Management and the assessment of the credit-worthiness of potential customers.Qualification Minimum Qualification: Graduate / C.A/MBARelevent Experience 3 + years in home loans / LAP/ Business LoansFunctional Competencies Good Knowledge of Mortgage Business. Good knowledge of Credit bureau check, property valuation,legal reprots & documentation. Should have good computer skills specifically data entry knowledge in microsoft Excel and MIS management.KYC Knowledge, Legal & Technical knowledge, Collateral understanding, Good knowledge of the related geography, documentation managementInterpersonal relationship skills and team handling skillsBehavioural Compentencies Simplicity and Humility,Hard work and Detailed orientation,Integrity,Dynamic Growth,Industry awareness,Customer Focus,Suceed Together,Nurture TalentJob Responsiblities Financial Responsibilities Should be able to understand various business profiles of self employed & non professionals.End to end complete customer assessment by visiting his business place, residence and security proposed with ownership attitudeUnderstanding of inherent credit, collateral, operational and fraud risksGood knowledge of legal documents and associated riskImparting regular training to sales team & credit team about product and policy and updating team about all relevant changes which can impact the customer repayment capacity and performance abilityOrganising and performing task within defined TAT for file processing.Good knowledge about technical valuation aspect of propertiesPreparation of customer assessment Memo and cash flow analysis and bank statement analysisManaging and complying Over the counter / post disbursal documents and ensuring complaince of companys norms.Non Financial Responsibilities Handling team of credit managers in branches under given cluster. Ensuring proper and seamless operations at alloted branches. Ensuring that all team members have knowledge about companys Policy and procedures for effective underwriting of proposal. Should be able to set culture of Risk vs reward while underwriting the transaction.Regular travel and touchbase at the alloted branches and ensuring complaince of policies and procedures.Maintaining Portfolio MIS, Delinquency MIS and other operations relared MIS of the cluster and regularly reporting the same.To be updated about local parameters such as legal /political/ industry demographies, To regularly update seniors about any local development which can be detrimental to franchiseAdhering to the companys policies and ensuring complaince of the same.Supporting business team for seamless processing of the proposals.Positive approach with problem solving attitudeKeep close watch on Turnaround time for self and the team and ensure speed with accuracyCompliance & Risk Responsiblities PDD and Audit query resolutionMaintaining confidentiality of information gathered from clients.Maintaing confidentiality of companys information - not to be shared with anybody out of office in any form (Verbal , written , mail or any other form)Safeguard of company assets provided for serving job responsibilities , like Identity Card , SIM, Marketing material , Computer Systems, Company provided Mobile and printerReview of Early warning and Non Starter cases,
