Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects in creation and review of piping systems in Production systems products. Lead survey of installation sites Responsible for design optimization to achieve lowest possible quantities and consequently cost, and with no compromise to safety, quality and project requirements. Point of contact to provide technical support in sourcing of construction materials and vendors for piping systems Work with Project Planner and Project Manager to plan, generate and maintain engineering schedule of assigned projects Technical focal point as expertise for all communication with customer and internal project team Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5-8 years of relevant industry experience. Knowledge in production systems in Oil and Gas construction industry is preferred Knowledge in CAD system Must be proficient in use of piping analysis programs such as Autopipe, ANSYS or ABACUS Sound understanding of Engineering practices, design methods & calculations. Ability to read, interpret & prepare applicable technical information & suggest design or process changes to ensure functional and cost-effective results.
