Job Description

Job Summary:This individual works as part of the Markets Activation Accounts pillar; supporting the Global Account Activation Leader with program deployment; and representing the GDS Account management organization to ensure consistent deployment across GDS. Working as part of the global team this individual also contributes to the development and implementation of strategy, best practices and global policies; this includes collaborating with Areas and Regions to deploy Account Activation best practice and supporting the execution of programs and initiatives outlined in the global account activation strategic planThis individual will be accountable for owning and delivering specific processes and activities and will be an additional point of contact in response to a diverse range of operational initiatives and processes from across the business and Markets Activation Team (MAT) leadership.Essential Functions of the Job:

  • SPOC to Global Account Activation Leader for all account activation program deployments
  • Collaboration with Global Account Activation team (all Areas) for program deployment across all Regions
  • Collaboration in GDS to ensure effective deployment of Account Activation programs (e.g. BASE, Account Lens)
  • Involvement in account activation programs and initiatives including project management (milestones and timelines; collaboration with SMEs etc.) and data analysis/insights to realize maximum value
  • Cultivating an innovation mindset across the global team to develop new techniques, leverage technologies, streamline account activation processes and to share those across the global community
  • Bring ideas, innovation and process efficiencies from GDS and Regions globally to the Account Activation Leadership team
  • Develop, maintain and promote positive relationships and engagement with key stakeholders

Job Requirements:Experience
  • Experience in Account management or client service is more important than formal educational qualification
  • Ideally 10 years + experience working in account management or client service and in collaborating with senior business leaders in a global organization
