Job Description

  • Responsible for the assisting the BACS Editorial team to copy check, language check and ensure brand compliance of English language content to be published in a range of media including print and digital. Performs a range of administrative and editorial tasks necessary to get content published. Should have good communication and task management skills to effectively prioritize work, and balance multiple priorities simultaneously to meet client commitments and deadlines. Works effectively in a team environment. His/her responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring content passing through the team is grammatically-correct and brand compliant
  • Maintaining a log to track the number/percentage of errors in the content
  • Performing research to assist the editorial team with writing projects
  • Provide writing support when necessary
  • Liaising with other in-house teams, writers, designers and production staff to negotiate timelines and ensure brand compliance and grammatical accuracy of content
  • Organizing and researching projects to tight deadlines
  • Supporting editorial staff in all activities leading to a publication
  • Correcting manuscripts
