Job Description

Profile Summary:

A degree in Engineering, Science, or a similar Quantitative field, preferably with a related postgraduate degree or Ph.D. Experience working on Advanced Analytics, Big Data and Machine Learning (ML) as well as on Business Analytics or Business Intelligence. More than three years of industry experience, off which least one year of strong experience working on predictive analytics, machine learning and other domains in advanced data analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage process/enterprise data to build statistical/mathematical models
  • Produce business relevant insights from all available data sets
  • Implement scalable Data Science solutions on a suitable technology stack for enterprise deployment
  • Integrate new ML modules to existing data collection and reporting solutions, including BI systems
  • Create insightful and actionable reports and visualizations with conclusions derived from data

Technicalskills:

  • Exploratory data analysis skills
  • Knowledge and experience with machine learning algorithms (supervised and unsupervised).
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques to support exploratory findings and conclusions
  • Strong experience in one of the programming languages used in data science (Python, R, MATLAB or similar)
  • Good to have experience with some of the related packages Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, scikit-learn, etc.
  • Experience working on Cloud technologies preferably on Azure.
  • Experience in deploying machine solutions at a proof of concept and industry scale
  • Experience working on agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe)

Otherrelevantskills / requirements:

  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn new skills and technology.
  • Experience working in a consulting role with significant direct interactions with clients
  • Ability to work with domain experts and quickly grasp the core parts of a problem that can be solved by data
  • Experience working on Proofs of Concept and Prototyping environment and the ability to scale them gradually
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate and effectively present findings from data.
  • Innovative mindset to identify use cases and implement agile and scalable solutions.
  • Willingness to travel as per engagement geographies
  • Fluent in English.
