Job Description

To be a part of a product development team and test the software product performance to ensure that the product functions according to specifications and standards as specified and meets the requirements and expectations set by the company.

Responsibilities
  • Manual / Automaton testing and related activities in a web based product development environment.
  • Developing test strategies for both manual and automation testing based on client requirement.
  • Estimation of tasks.
  • Should have knowledge in scripting languages and develop scripts as required
  • Conducting performance testing on the product on a regular basis and analyzing the results.
  • Explaining the performance testing results to the development team to fix performance bottlenecks if any.
  • Close interaction with the development team to understand the requirements and timely closure of defects reported.
  • On-Time completion of tasks assigned.
  • Ensuring adherence to Quality management, Quality process and standards, documentation
  • Providing prompt customer support and timely resolution of support calls.
Qualifications
  • Graduate Engineer ( CS/IT Preferably)/MCA/ with a minimum of 4+ years of software application manual testingand automation testing (with a minimum of 2 + years in application performance testing) experience in a recognized, global IT Services/ consulting company.
  • Expertise in manual testing and Automation Testing.
  • Expertise in conducting performance tests (including load testing) using tools like WAPT, JMeter, etc.
  • Expertise in designing and developing test strategies and plans.
  • Ability to analyse test results (especially performance testing) and provide recommendations to improve software product performance.
  • Leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent oral, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent team player, multi-tasking capability and the ability to work under pressure.
