Leadership skills Knowledge in Embedded hardware design Digital/ Analog/ mixed signal Design. Processor, DDR3, NAND, SATA interface. Design experience with P2040 and AM335xx etc. Knowledge in EMI/ EMC design, application and associated IEC standards for Surge, EFT etc. Knowledge in Orcad for Schematic development Debug skills. Signal Integrity and thermal analysis skills. Experience / Guidance in Layout and Routing of multi- layer boards greater than 8 Layers (Cadence Allegro preferred) Identification of components and BOM generation as per requirement. Expertise in handling test equipment like Oscilloscope and Spectrum/ Network Analyzer. Desired Skills Power supply and system power distribution design Simulation of design Reliability calculation Roles & Responsibility Guide, review and co- ordinate hardware project to specifications and schedule. Circuit Design and BOM management Floor Planning and Layout co- ordination with Mechanical designer. Interaction with EMS/ SCM for prototype development Testing and certification of Product.
