Job Description

Job purpose:

  • Senior member of a larger team in the GDS Advisory Services team to work on various Data analytics projects.
Your client responsibilities:
  • Create technical solutions to business needs by translating their requirements and finding innovative resolutions to the brief.
  • Need to work as a lead developer to contribute in various technical streams of EI implementation project.
  • Provide product and design level technical best practices
  • Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
  • Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the lead

Technical skills requirements
  • BE/BTech/MCA/MBA with adequate industry experience
  • Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
  • Excellent business communication, Consulting, Quality process skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Should have knowledge on SQL and stored procedures.
  • 3+ years experience with SAS/VA Explorer, Designer, Viewer; experience in loading data into LAZR Analytics Server using file triggers and data queries a must.
  • Good understanding in creating custom objects/graphs with a special focus on row level security.
  • Knowledge of SAS libraries, stored procs, LAZR grid architecture in distributed and non-distributed mode.
  • Passion for data; Hands-on experience integrating, querying and preparing datasets for reporting and analytics.
  • Bonus items: installation, configuration, and server admin experience ; SAS BI mobile development; SSO, URL proxy and mid-tier balancing, Hadoop/Hive, Data lake.
  • Ability to understand business needs, develop the visual, and sell the concept to business partners.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills. Must be open to suggestions and possess strong communication skills.
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary.
