Job Title: Senior .NET Developer Location: Preferred candidates based in Kochi, Kerala Employment Type: Full Time Experience: Minimum 5 yearsJob Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to lead and deliver multiple web development projects. The role requires strong back-end .NET expertise, solid front-end skills, hands-on experience with MS SQL, and the ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship in a remote environment. The ideal candidate writes clean, maintainable code, drives best practices, and helps shape architecture and delivery across projects.Role explanation As a Senior .NET Developer you will be responsible for architecting, building and maintaining scalable web applications using ASP.NET, and MVC. You will work closely with product, design and QA to translate requirements into high-quality solutions, optimize database performance, and ensure responsive user experiences. You will lead by example: reviewing code, guiding junior developers, establishing coding standards, and applying sound software design patterns. Use of AI-assisted developer tools to accelerate productivity is encouraged.Key responsibilities
• Lead and manage multiple web development projects through design, implementation and delivery
• Architect and develop server-side solutions using ASP.NET, and MVC
• Design, optimize and maintain MS SQL Server databases and write efficient queries and stored procedures
• Build responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and jQuery
• Create and consume Web APIs and integrate third-party services where required
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, version control and CI/CD workflows
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to the development team; conduct code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Troubleshoot, profile and resolve performance, security and functional issues in existing applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA and project managers to meet delivery timelines
• Keep current with industry trends and adopt relevant tools, frameworks and techniques to improve productivity and product quality
Required skills and qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional .NET development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET, and MVC architecture
• Solid experience with MS SQL Server including schema design, indexing and query optimization
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and jQuery
• Sound understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns and clean code principles
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Proven ability to plan, estimate and deliver features on schedule while maintaining quality
Preferred skills
• Experience building and documenting RESTful Web APIs
• Familiarity with Entity Framework and LINQ
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience with Agile or Scrum delivery processes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
