Job Description

The position is for a software development company that specializes in providing web, mobile app development services along with WebGIS development.Job SummaryThe UI/UX Designer will work closely with our marketing team and designers to ensure seamless web/mobile design and the successful implementation of UI/UX best practices and principles across all our digital platforms.Responsibilities and Duties

  • Expertise of standard UX software such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills.
  • Should have experience in user-centered design (UCD), planning & conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, usability and accessibility concerns
  • Exposure to mobile-first and responsive design.
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes.
  • Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
  • Producing high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
  • Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
  • Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
  • Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Any Graduate with experience in UI/UX Design
  • 1 - 4 years of UX design experience.
  • A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
  • Knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dreamweaver.
  • Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Some knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction.
