Software Test Engineer - Automation Job Responsibilities Work closely in an Agile methodology based Product development team Develop and Implement test strategy, test plans, test cases, test reports for various testing like unit, functional, regression and performance testing Recording and track defects through Web-based project management tool Responsible for testing of software products / projects delivered in global markets May need to work in flexible time to attend client meetings and project release Skill set Requirement ] At least 2+ years in overall software automation testing environment having 1+ years hands-on experience in manual Testing Experience in Manual and Automation Testing experience in Web-based applications is an advantage Hands-on experience in automation testing using QTP with good VB scripting skills is a plus Strong understanding of test automation needs and framework design techniques is a plus Should have experience in understanding and developing/executing test cases Experience in using any bug tracking tool Sound knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures Good communication skills and a team player spirit Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to think OUT OF BOX Ability to implement and execute test plans diligently and delivering on time Ability to coordinate with development team May need to work in flexible time to attend US meetings Educational Qualifications: B.E. /B.Tech. /M.C.A. /BCA/BSc. with Diploma in software testing or quality assurance,
