Coach must play a dual role of Teacher and Lifeguard.Coach must deliver appropriate curriculum to teach the swimming.Focus on process and good technical swimming.Assesses player s skills, monitors players during competition and practice, and keeps the sports coordinator informed about the athletic performance of students.Assists with determining game strategy and provide quality of the learning experience.Coach should make the students to understand the Risk assessment and safety measures in swimming environment.Distributes equipment, supplies, and uniforms to students as directed by the sports coordinator.Attends staff development meetings, clinics and other professional activities to improve coaching performance.Should immediately address the weaknesses observed at the meet with individuals as well as the team and to respond with drills, teaching, or appropriate training. A coach must be reliable, responsible, and compassionate.,
