Job-Holder Specifications QUALIFICATION Basic Qualification / Education / Vocational Training Diploma / Degree in Radiography Advanced Qualification / Certification / Specialist Training Advanced Medical Imaging Diploma or similar such qualification is desired EXPERIENCE Minimum Experience Technician - Diploma with 0 - 3 Yearsrsquo experience Technologist - B. Sc with 0 - 3 or Diploma with 3 - 6 Yrs experience Sr Technologist - M. Sc with 0-3 yrs / B. Sc with 3-6 or Diploma with 6 -9 Yrs experience Specific / Relevant Experience Should be aware of all aspects of general radiography. Should be able to handle basic CT techniques and should have exposure to MRI. Female associates to additionaly perform Mammography. Key Responsibilities 1 Duties and Responsibilities Performs Quality control of Imaging Provides over all supervision of technical work in department Assumes responsible for reporting equipment breakdown and liaise with Biomedical and vendor for service Performs special radiographic procedures like IVP, Barium studies, etc. Provides technical support and assistance in interventional and vascular studies. Performs maintenance of Interventional radiology store and lab. Performs all routine CT scans and filming. Assists in CT guided studies like FNAC, fluid aspiration etc. Performs routine MRI scans. Performs Imaging, post screening, 3D reconstruction, networking, Archival and retrieval, film processing, changing developer and fixer, etc. Senior roles are expected to provide overall supervision and prepare duty roster for the dept Senior roles are also expected to attend to all problems at working level ,
