Job Description

Dear Candidate,This is to bring to your kind notice that we have an opening for the post of House Keeping Associate for a reputed million dollar organization for Kuwait.Location - KuwaitLAUNDRY WORKER GENERAL

  • This is routine heavy manual work performed in the laundry of an institution maintained by the province.
  • The major function is the safe and efficient operation of the heavy laundry equipment in the cleaning of all types of linens, clothes, etc.
  • Supervision may be given over residents of the institution who are engaged in similar work.
  • Detailed procedures are laid down for the incumbent to follow and work is checked for conformance to institutional standards.
TYPICAL DUTIES
  • Sorts, classifies and processes soiled laundry.
  • Operates heavy laundry equipment such as the tumblers and the extractors, loading and unloading laundry into and out of the machines.
  • Determines the proper washroom formula to apply in a particular run, adds the formula to the washing.
  • Sorts out the clean laundry and delivers it to the wards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Thorough knowledge of washing products, types of fabric, and the proper laundry procedures of each type.
  • Ability to make wash tests and interpret the test results.
  • Ability to supervise and instruct patients engaged in laundry activity
