JOB TITLE: Staff Nurse/Radiographer/Lab TechnicianEXPERIENCE: Two (2) of experience, freshers can also applyEDUCATION: Degree/DiplomaINDUSTRY: MedicalREMUNERATION: 4000SG$/6000 AEDVISA & CONTRACT: Work Visa /3 YearsTERMS OF EMPLOYMENTPermanent, Full-time (2087 annualized hours including holiday). This is an annualized role so hours worked may vary from month to month. But the salary will be paid monthly in 12 equal installments over the Year. You will be expected to work weekends, Bank holidays and Limited evenings.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF NURSESMaintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments.Recording patient vital signs and medical information.Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests.Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.Administering non-intravenous medications.Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responsesROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OFRADIOGRAPHERTrauma radiography, which usually involves working in emergency departmentsMobile radiography, which involves using special machines for patients who are too sick to travelCT (computed tomography) scansMRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scansFluoroscopy an X-ray test that examines the internal body and shows moving images on a screen like a movieAngiography imaging of blood vessels and the heartWorking in operating theatres to assist surgeons with special X-ray equipment during operations.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OFLAB TECHNICIANMaintains glassware by picking-up, cleaning, washing, sterilizing, and distributing.Provides glassware by ordering, receiving, and inventorying glassware.Keeps laboratory supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.Documents information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.Resolves problems by examining and evaluating data; selecting corrective steps.Completes projects by assisting project team; attending and participating in group and project meetings.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.Enhances laboratory and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.BENEFITSOvertime Wages,Meals, accommodation,Medical Insurance BenefitsTransportation,30 paid leaves with return economy airfare tickets in a yearKEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPSFellow Junior and Senior staff.Deputy Team Leader.Team Leader.Unit Manager.Multi-disciplinary team.ConfidentialityYou are required to maintain confidentiality of any information concerning patients or staff which you have access to or may be given in the course of your work, in accordance with current policy on confidentiality.SecurityIt is the responsibility of all employees to work within the security policies and procedures of the protect the patients, staff and visitors and the property of the Trust.
