Job Description

Salary: 10 Lac - 65 LacPurpose: Perform a full range of process & technology duties, i.e. follow up of steelmaking operation and anticipation of its technological needs (repair, improvement of certain parameters, .Main Accountabilities:

  • Ensure H&S steelmaking and related facilities and enhancement of this culture.
  • Hold assessment of steelmaking plan unit one after other and maintaining health assessment log for future repairs and technicals needs.
  • Verify daily the reliability of the recordings.
  • Analyze the data, identifies the dysfunctions, and throws corrective actions.
  • Coach the staff, and develops the needs for necessary trainings
  • Maintaining data and technical analysis of steel and related facilities of past 10 years at least and recommendation for improvements.
  • Deep analysis of Capex and Opex needs and related facilities.
  • Full involvement in the budgeting process and ensuring accurate budget needed according to the need of year to come.
  • Strong interaction with upstream and downstream functions and interacting with them on a daily basis to mitigate potential risks.

  • Qualification & Experience: Graduate in engineer / technical area with 15+ years years of previous managerial experience in industrial environment.Has already worked in steel plant for more than 3 years
Competence Requirements:
  • Strong process knowledge, experience in Steelmaking operations.
  • Solid organizational and planning skills.
  • Understanding of business environment and its risks.
  • High level of energy and drive.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Communication skills to deal effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Both English and french speaking is preferable
