Job Description

To supervise all housekeeping operations and to take daily inspection rounds of the HotelTo check the departmental log book maintained by the supervisorsTo maintain liaison with the laundryResponsible for the stock and upkeep of all room and F&B linen in the hotel.Responsible for stock and upkeep of all hotel uniformsTo plan departmental budget and to ensure effective inventory controlsTo plan and schedule all renovations and regular maintenance of rooms in advance, in consultation with the front office manager and the chief engineerTo check on lost and found property controlsTo see to guest requests, VIPs, baby sitting and call on ailing guestsTo ensure that all equipment required for the cleaning and maintenance of rooms and public area are kept in good working conditionTo organise pest control schedules for the entire hotel in coordination with various departments.To ensure the gardening, horticulture and flower arrangements of the hotel are as per the prescribed standardsTo plan training programmes and train supervisory and other staff in the department with the assistance of the training managerTo conduct staff meetings in the departmentIn addition to the above mentioned duties and job functions, any other assignment given on an occasional basis or daily basis by the immediate superior or the management.
