Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Import Export Head to lead ourinternational trade operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge ofimport/export regulations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implementeffective strategies to ensure the smooth and efficient management of our import and exportactivities.Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive import/exportstrategies aligned with the companys objectives. Compliance: Ensure all import/export activities comply with local and internationalregulations, including customs laws and trade agreements. Documentation: Oversee the preparation and management of all necessarydocumentation for import and export processes. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, freightforwarders, customs brokers, and other key stakeholders. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate and manage the logistics of import and exportshipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with international trade,including potential delays, regulatory changes, and geopolitical factors. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the import/export team, fostering a culture ofcontinuous improvement and excellence. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities forimport/export activities and stay informed about industry trends. Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for import/export operations,ensuring cost control and efficiency. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on import/export activities, including keyperformance indicators and financial metrics.Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Post Graduate degree in International Business, Logistics,Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of [10] years of experience in import/export operations, withat least [2] years in a leadership role. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international trade regulations, customsprocedures, and global logistics. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency inrelevant software and technology.
