Lead Buyer - Site SourcingDeploy commodities strategyEnsure project execution in line with QCD objectivesPilot local contractual relationships with suppliersJob Requirements- Knowledge of Handling Electrical Sub Systems & Propulsion Commodities for Railways/Metro Projects.- Knowledge of Handling Parts like Transformer, Heat Exchangers, Oil Tanks, Batteries, Battery Chargers, Brakes, Brake Panels, Pneumatic Kit, Main Air Supply Unit, Pantograph, Pantograph Control Unit, Couplers, HVAC, Speed Sensors, Traction Motor, Louvers & filters, Internal & External Lights, Crew Fans, Fire Extinguishers, Temperature & Humidity sensors, Dehumidifiers, Blowers, Insulators, 25 KV Cables, ERCU, Busbars, Tabs, Connector Shore Supply- Profound Knowledge of Supplier Base used for Railway & Metro Projects- New Vendor Development into System.Supplier relationship: Identification of project and business needsPreparation and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard toolNegotiation of cost reduction with suppliersInputs provider/contributor for order placementEnsure QCD targets achievement, CONQ (Cost Of Non Quality) & claims managementLead supplier QCD performance reviewsManagement of initial issues before escalation to line managerRespect Alstom Transport code of ethics and guidelinesC ommodity support on site: Consolidation of commodity needs, inputsActive participation to commodity strategy and panel elaborationSupport of Commodity Manager in tender phaseRepresent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solvingApply the Alstom Transport Sourcing process, and provide return on experience.-Manage change request commodities and drive till installation of parts and closure of design changes.I nvolvement in projects and Reporting Closely work with sourcing project representatives (Project Sourcing Manager, etc.)Ensure work package sheet commitment respectEnsure QCD targets- MIS Reporting (Monthly, Quarterly and CPR )Key Performance IndicatorsSavings P&L and Alstom Transport CompletionNon Conformities Report/PPM reduction, OTD2Panel situation Supplier compliancy status rateEducational requirementsEngineering degree or Business school with MASTER in purchasingTechnical Knowledge / ExperienceFluent english & International background is a mustBehavioral and Technical Skills / CompetenciesGood interpersonal skills (leadership and communication)Job Location / MobilityOn site / very few travelsLocationMadhepura (Bihar)An agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
